Description: This decal sheet from Lifelike Decals contains markings for four Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XVIe's. Included are  basic stenciling, artwork, national markings colour profiles, b&w data placement guide and brief history notes on the aircraft featured. 

Recommended kit: Tamiya Spitfire Mk.XVI


Aircraft featured are as follows:
 
Spitfire LF Mk XVIe,  RAF No. 302 (Polish) Squadron,  based in Varrelbusch/ Germany June - early August 1945 and flown by Squadron Leader Boleslaw Kaczmarekwith .  This aircraft features an artwork of a British Bull Dog wearing a leather flight helmet and boxing gloves.

Spitfire LF Mk XVIe,  RAF No. 485 (New Zealand) Squadron based in Fassburg/Germany June - August 1945. This aircraft was flown by
W.O. Murray J.C. Lind and features artwork that contains a leaf and the letters "NZ".

Spitfire LF Mk XVI LF, from the R Aux AF No. 612 Squadron in 1949 Cooper Air Race, Elmdon AB in July 1949. 

Spitfire Mk XVI LF, RW396 of Central Gunnery School at Leconfield 1946 - 1947 in a bare metal finish.

In progress: Italeri JAS-39 Gripen Pt.3



In Progress: The kit decals have been applied and were not too bad. Yes, they are are a bit thick but still usable.  With a few coats of floor polish and dullcoat should even things up.
